Ms. Ji has been practicing IP Law since 2015. She focuses on various aspects of intellectual property matters, including trademark rights prosecution, brand development and protection strategies, well-known trademarks, copyright registration and other contentious and non-contentious IP-related matters.

Ms. Ji is experienced in advising brand protection strategies based on clients’ industry fields, enterprise nature, and business models, providing legal opinions on the global layout of clients’ trademarks and dispute resolution, especially with extensive experience in trademark matters abroad.

Work Highlights

  • Represented Shenzhen Meixixi (HEYTEA) in defending trademark right of “喜茶” against trademark squatting and received a favorable judgement from the primary court in Macau.
  • Represented Shenzhen Meixixi (HEYTEA) in the administrative lawsuit of invalidation of the trademark “喜茶兄弟” and received favorable judgments in proceedings at the Beijing IP Court and Beijing High People’s Court.
  • Represented Bananain in trademark authorization case in Canada and made breakthroughs.
  • Represented XUEQIU.com in the administrative lawsuit of invalidation of the trademark “雪盈证券” and received favorable judgments in proceedings at the Beijing IP Court and Beijing High People’s Court.
  • Acted for Tuhu.com in trademark portfolio development and management, provide IP related legal services.
